Welcome to Radius Tours & Bike Rental - the Original (and we believe the best) Munich Sightseeing and Walks Tour Company

and number one specialist in English-language tours in and around Munich and Bavaria and beyond.

We offer sightseeing walking tours in and around Munich, and also day trips from Munich to historic and beautiful towns like Salzburg and Nuremberg - and, of course, the legendary Neuschwanstein Castle. We specialise in serious history tours such as the Third Reich and World War related tours, and tours to the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site. We also offer fun evening tours of Munich by night - beer and food and ghosts.  And of course, our ever popular bike tours. In addition to fixed-schedule tours, we also offer a wide variety of private tours.

Before you decide on any of this, why don't you orientate yourself by going on our daily Priceless Munich walking tour (you decide what you think the tour is worth) and let us introduce Munich to you.

And if none of that is enough, you can always rent a bike from us and explore Munich by yourself!

Our motto is: If you do something just once, do it right. Join our tours and you’ll benefit from the expertise of both native English-speakers and native Bavarian residents with years of experience of what works best. You’ll find our tours light-hearted and entertaining, sometimes serious and always informative. All major guide books endorse us. Only the best guides work for us.

Radius 20 years and more of experience

2011 has been named Munich's Blaues Jahr, or "Blue Year", to celebrate two major jubilees: the 125th anniversary of the death of the "Fairy Tale King", Ludwig II, and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the celebrated Blue Rider modern art group which produced key works of 20th century art. We mark the Blue Year by launching two great new tours:

A twice-weekly day trip to Herrenchiemsee, Ludwig's gorgeous palace on an island on Lake Chiemsee.

A weekly Sunday afternoon Art Tour through the Neue Pinakothek art gallery which contains one of the world's greatest collections of 19th century art, including such iconic masterpiece's as Vincent Van Gogh's Sunflowers.

We also commence our new twice-weekly day trip to beautiful Augsburg, the 2000 year old town an hour from Munich originally founded by the Roman Emporer Augustus Ceasar.

In this same year, Munich is 853 years old and Radius is 23 years old. That’s a lot of history. That’s a lot of culture. That’s two decades of accumulated expertise in bringing the fruits of those 852 years of history and culture  to our customers.

We know what visitors want and we know what Munich and Bavaria have to offer. Let us introduce you to each other ...
